A trip to my local yarn shop for knitting needles would, of course, result in my perusal of more wool/yarn. How could one be expected to walk in for one thing and not walk out with additional goodies? I know of few knitters who wear blinders or have the determination to absolutely stick to ‘the plan.’ This isn’t to say that we knitters are weak-willed … absolutely not … but if it is possible to bribe and self-convince of a new absolute need or wish fulfillment, then knitters rank amongst the most talented.
